Planning My College Magazine - Audience Research
When planning my college magazine I undertook a series of tasks to help me design/finish my magazine. Firstly, I created a questionnaire featuring various questions that covered a broad range of issues. Some questions included: "What size should the magazine be?" "Would you like information on upcoming events" "Would you pay for the magazine?" These questions and more, helped me to design the cover and contents page as I could include headlines and coverlines that encompass what the students have asked for themselves. In addition to this, I used a series of informal interviews with various students in my class and other friends to get a good idea of what to include, this information in conjunction with the questionnaire vastly helped me to finish my magazine cover/contents.
